Sugar Fag
Great show. I must say that calling a female a "sugar Mag" is, perhaps, the gayest thing I have ever read. I am now dumber from having read it.

This was one of my best times at a Ratdog show. They didn't disappoint this night. I was impressed with this town not only for Bell's Oberon, but the people there were super chilled. We started out that evening with crab-legs and I ended with getting crabs from some sugar mag I met after the show. Just kidding bout the crabs tho she was certainly a sugar mag. The theatre is awesome, kinda of a cross between the Orpheum in Madison and the Riv in Chicago. Cant wait to download this show so I can relive it all over again.

I Can Not Believe It !
I can not believe it... believe it! I'm the first to review this show?!?!?!?! Get on the ball folks! This is a GREAT show! Download it now, you'll be glad you did. I "review" very few shows here. Others often do it well, and I go by that as a way of gauging what to check out. How no one reviewed this is beyond me. As I was streaming and doing some work, I completely got sucked into this recording. To begin with, the sound is great, so that aspect of a show's quality is taken care of. Then there is the music. This show is fantastic! The Playin' to start is well jammed and focused, Queen Jane is just a good tune, so mission accomplished on that one. The Eternity is really well done. I was never a huge fan of this tune, but Kenny's sax is really great. The tune walks the line between a blues number one moment and a jazz piece the next. Very well done. Mark Karan's acoustic touch is almost never mentioned, but he has a great acoustic touch. The FOTD is very nice. THEN... Odessa! This has instantly and completely become my favorite version of the song. This isn't a beat, it's a swagger that they play it at. I love it! The Aiko is a nice set closer. The originals to open set two; October Queen > Deep End> Even So,are all done with great confidence. Solid versions all around. The Saint of Circumstance really moves and the jams (for the entire show) rock! Dark Star > TOO- great too. OK, enough!!! get this show!!!!!!!!! Ratdog is so good! They are far and away the best traveling band out there today (IMHO), and this show proves it. I am so glad I listened to it (and dl'd it) and I am so glad for the archive! Thanks and enjoy!
